Last night I sat down and made a list, after feeling overwhelmed with things that I need to accomplish before heading to Hope Spoken at the end of the month. 
There are several ideas I have prayed through and thought over which I really felt the Lord had given me a green light for, but I just felt as though I couldn't get the space and time I needed to put them in action. 
So after feeling overwhelmed last night, I made a list so that I could put it all on paper and go forward with my Friday, ready to attack some of it on Saturday morning before heading away for the weekend. 
Then I suddenly get the day off. Like a small gift came from the Lord. An entire day to work on whatever project needs action first.


I get the whole day to start my list. And I realised I'm not overwhelmed, I'm just super excited by everything He is leading me too. 


So I sat down this morning and started one of the projects. Small baby steps of it anyway. 
So I announced on my twitter and instagram this morning the changes made to my handles.

There are some big changes coming here in this little space the Lord has given me, for the time being, to share what He is teaching me. He has taught me so much in the past year about where my identity and worth are, in Him alone. How I can be sharing things that I'm not because I'm stuck in a place where I put too much importance on what people think of me, how they will react to what I share. 

But the whole point of sharing here was to be obedient. And obviously I am not perfect at doing something as simple as that. So I am trying to be more obedient and in doing so, I think its time for a change. Time for a new name, a new identity, one that is in embedded in a verse that meant a lot to me growing up. Time for me to cling to Him alone as I move forward.    

So I can't wait to share it with you friends! And hopefully to share more as He leads me. 

Some things that are inspiring me lately:

This couple just has a beautiful love story! I love the way they love each other! 

I'm such a sucker for romantic stories.

Happy Fall Friends! 

Hope you guys had a great vacation weekend enjoying time with your families and relaxing before we head into the grind of the year.

I'm totally ready for Fall, even though I really love Summer. I just wish we could do Fall and then Summer again maybe. Oh well. Will have to pray about moving to a warmer climate I guess lol.

What are you most looking forward to?

For me I can't wait to head to the Cider Mill for doughnuts, apple picking (a tradition we have done every year since we got married), watch the explosion of color happen on the trees, enjoy pumpkin spice lattes and maybe even learn the rules of football this year haha! ;)

Glorious Angel Moments.

Well as true with every Spring so far since being married, 

big changes are happening.

My biggest #GloriousAngelMoments this week 

has been in the form of a new place to live and even a possible new job for me.

After hitting so many closed doors for living places and employment opportunities, 

we have finally found a door swing wide open to move closer to our current church community. 

This is such a blessing after a few years of living so far from where we were going to church and feeling sad about not being able to be involved. Having worried about car pressures with long distances to work, but not knowing where else to get a place to live.

These are just huge answers to prayer for us.

So neither are finalized or anything, but both have just come to us in the last week and I am so thankful :)

Glorious Angel Moments.

I was blessed this weekend friends.

Before the hubby returns back to work after being laid off for the winter, we were able to go skiing one last time. I am so thankful he was patient enough to teach me to ski this winter.

He's a pretty gifted teacher too I'll have you know. Very patient and good at explaining things too.

So my #GloriousAngelMoments moment this week, was the gorgeous views from the ski hill.

There is nothing like riding that ski lift up to the top of a peak and seeing God's creation from up there. The view from a plane is pretty amazing, but there's something about seeing it lower down and from every angle, no airplane interior blocking your view. 

Amazing right? Its crazy how many things on this earth I will probably never see in my lifetime which are just as spectacular as this. God is amazing! Like I just can't even begin to think about how so many beautiful things could just happen without a God making them.

On a lighter note, how many of you iphone owners out there knew about the panorama picture option?!?!?

Glorious Angel Moments.

I apologize for not being on top of the #GloriousAngelMoments posts for the last couple of weeks. There is a reason, but I will save my thoughts on the blogging schedule I had going for another post coming this next week :)

I am so thankful for each one of you readers, your interactions and support are what make this community here. And as thankful as I am for how much this little blog has grown, there are some changes in mind coming up. I'm excited and hoping this will help each of you grow in friendship with one another and really create an encouraging community here.

So anyway...moving on to the recap of the week, although some of these are from the last few weeks.
My biggest Glorious Angel Moment this week came in the form of a washer and dryer.

(apparently I felt the need to watermark our laundry appliances. Cause I'm sure someone will take that picture right?)

We weren't expecting to have these appliances while in this house. I had worked out a deal to do laundry while I worked. Yes, it was frustrating to take the laundry with me whenever I headed out but it worked well and it made sense. So when the hubby headed out last weekend to help a friend move, and came home with appliances that were just given to us. I was kinda surprised to say the least.
So these beautiful appliances are actually ours. About five years old and in amazing condition. Apparently the Lord felt like we should be blessed with our own washer and dryer. Not complaints from this girl :)
So thankful! And it might seem strange that something like laundry could be blessed by the Lord haha. But it is so true that you can do laundry and housework all for His glory :)

Glorious Angel Moments.

Last week, I decided to start a hashtag community on Instagram called #GloriousAngelMoments.

Sharing those little moments throughout your week where you see the Lord at work, see His grace in something. As a way to share the little things He does in our lives, to build community with you ladies.

I have loved seeing your pictures this week. Seeing how each of you sees Him in the everyday.

Its precious and beautiful!

Life is slowing down to a more normal routine for me finally.

So hopefully that means I can get in gear for sharing my super long list of blog post ideas that have been gathering dust during our move, sorry about that!

Friday Favorites.

Back at the Influence conference, a friend and I were finding ourselves a little overwhelmed by the whole thing. You know being in a new place, around a lot of people you don't really know. It was all a little much for us. So in a Pollyanna moment, we invented something called Angel Moments.

(Reminds me of the Glad Game a little haha!)

The angel moments were times where we saw God in such a real way during the conference, during the overwhelmed ocean going on. We would be feeling totally out of our comfort zone, then something would happen where we would totally feel His presence and love (an angel moment). 

For instance, the first evening was the stripes party, and I was totally feeling overwhelmed in this small room with a few hundred other ladies. So I stepped outside for some air and spent about a half hour talking with such an encouraging wise woman, who I totally thought was an actual angel. 

Then there was standing in an elevator with six high school hockey players standing around me in a semi-circle. No wait, that one was just awkward. ;)

 But despite the overwhelmed feelings going on, there were those moments that happened regularly, where we saw God in everything going on. 

A cup of coffee with a dear friend, a dinner with sweet ladies and a chance to pour our hearts out to one another, jokes about crate&barrell.

Those 'angel moments' that felt divine, like God's unique way of loving on us throughout our day.

Being able to share these precious moments with my friend was so encouraging during the conference, and I would love to open it up to all you lovelies who want to join me.

I want us to use the Instagram hashtag:

and share these moments together as a way of encouraging one another.

So during your day, however mundane or overwhelming it might seem, when you feel the Lord loving on you or any other kind of 'angel moment' I really hope you will Instagram it and use the hashtag! 

I'm hoping we will be encouraged by how many moments occur when we start looking for them and how encouraged we are by sharing them together.

My hope is to then feature a few on the friday favorites everyweek.
